Owning a yorkie: Folks who are unfamiliar with the yorkie breed should take note. I am often asked if the puppy or even the adult yorkie that I have available is potty trained. First, for anyone who wants a dog who never has an accident, I recommend you do NOT get a yorkie. All puppies, any breed, ALWAYS need training. Much of it is and can be instinctive, but these little guys often have minds of their own and if their routine is disrupted, they will potty right where they want to. It is just the nature of the breed. Even a well trained yorkie will and can have accidents. Even an adult who is potty trained can and does have accidents. If you want a dog that is completely potty trained, I suggest you find another breed. Below you will find info regarding availability. Thank you. MY EMAIL: miracleyorkies@yahoo.com
IF YOU HAVE A DEPOSIT ON A PUPPY AND YOU CANCEL ON THAT PUPPY, THE DEPOSIT IS NON REFUNDABLE, NON TRANSFERRABLE. IF YOU CANCEL ON YOUR PUPPY, THAT PUPPY WILL IMMEDIATELY PUT BACK UP AS AVAILABLE. THANK YOU.
Yorkies come in many sizes and personalities. I hope to help you to choose the right yorkie for you. Some yorkies are very mild mannered while many are peppy and playful. One thing that almost always stands true: Yorkies have NO fear. They are very brave and will easily contend w/a larger dog given the chance. Yorkies come in many sizes: TINY: 2 to 3.5 lbs SMALL: 4 to 5.5 lbs. MEDIUM 6 to 7 lbs. LARGE 8 to 10 lbs. A yorkie over 10 lbs as an adult is probably either too fat or is apt to have been poorly bred. Occasionally, you can produce a larger yorkie from good lines, BUT if this is something that is prevalent in the breeder's puppies who are produced, they should not be bred. NOTE: all deposits are non refundable
